Which is why the Cinematic Titanic (from, quote, "the original creators of MST3K!", seeing as Mike Nelson and Kevin Murphy technically don't own any royalty rights to the original series and don't have a paying gig) sticks to good old-fashioned bizarre 50's/60's fests like "Doomsday Machine" and "Wasp Woman"--
While RiffTrax obsessively pursues LOTR, the Matrix, Spiderman 3, Transformers, X-Men, all ten Star Trek movies, and anything else that they imagine might attract geeky comic-book fans who, like, go to conventions in funny ears, 'n stuff.
