Universal Studios tends to leave their Blu-ray releases region free.

Have people preordered this at Best Buy? I went there today and grabbed the card to preorder it, and after checking with a manager, he told me they weren't allowed to sell the preorders in the store, just online. What's the deal?

I saw those cards at my best buy today but didn't see any for the 3D version. Did anyone preorder 3d one in store?

FYI, the U.S. Best Buy site now has their exclusive film for the first film listed. Couldn't find Lost World or Jurassic Park 3 there yet. Either I'm just not looking right and missed it or likely just not listed yet, but don't see why they wouldn't be.

It's fan-made. The front artwork was fan-made before the actual posters came out and it has the old Universal logo on the side, which is unlike to be a studio-made mistake since their current templates wouldn't have a logo that hasn't been used in years

Guaranteed to be a Region Free, Universal only lock releases when they don't have worldwide distrubtion rights.

Thanks guys! I have a close friend who lives in the UK, so she's gonna pre-order it for me, and then ship it to me once she gets it. I just wanted some assurance before giving her the green light to pre-order, just in case.

The manager just saved you a headache. Go look at the Mad Max: Fury Road steelbook thread, due to those cards (and BB's incompetency) MANY didn't get their preorders.
