*shrugs* That's just what I read, and I'm not sure the true reasons for it, and I'm sure it's more complicated than that. However, you'll notice neither Kingdom Hearts 1.5 or 2.5 made it to PSN on PS3.

This is a US release, right? I just couldn't help noticing the Japanese text on the logos, making me think this is a Japanese release.

Japan. To my knowledge, a NA hasnt been announced yet, but I woudlnt doubt it

Kingdom Hearts 2.8 contains:
- Dream Drop Distance (HD)
- X Black Cover (Movie)
- 0.2 Birth By Sleep (New)

All of of the above content takes place after Kingdom Hearts 2 but before 3. So 2.8 + 0.2 = 3 I think that is the meaning of 2.8 lol.

So excited for this!!

I love the series. I play the two main games annually (for over ten years now lol) but I haven't enjoyed the handheld games as much. I'm just not much of a handheld gamer. Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days had weird combat (not to mention, CoM is just boring to play and Days literally felt like a chore to play).

After Days, I vowed to not play anymore KH games on handhelds lol, so no Birth by Sleep or Coded for me. Until the HD collections came out. BBS is great, the gameplay combat was a little weird, but I got used to it.

Really looking forward to playing DDD though. It was one of those things where if they DIDN'T come out with a console version by the time KHIII came out, I probably would have just sucked it up and bought it on 3DS just to experience the whole story before the new one comes out.
