I broke a few of mine down for room. I just broke one of my Seros Regime's down and got 2 exotic shards and weapon parts.

Yeah, everything is pretty terrible from year one now. There's no real reason to keep any of it sadly. That fricken iron banner hood I grinded three days for (rank 4 item) has a defense of 30. I mean come on. 30? For a legendary piece? Ugh.

Oh it really does. It's a very strange feeling just destroying the stuff I worked so hard for. But at least the new stuff looks pretty sweet.

The legendary marks are stupid though. Flat out, easily a big mistake.

It feels weird to replace legendary and exotic gear with green stuff.

Leveling up seems to happen quickly. My Titan is almost a 39 and I have only done a few of the missions. My gear score is only a 180 though.

While I didn't get the PS4 TTK Edition for the looks, after seeing it in person this thing sure is a beaut. Pictures just don't do it justice.

But now I'm stuck downloading the entire 17.6 GB install again. The bundle has a physical disc (Lenedary Edition), but of course it's just the original Destiny disc plus a key for TTK. Good news at least it's downloading MUCH faster this time (initial ETA was 48 mins), I'm sure because the whole world isn't grabbing the update now like last week.

Also, the "soft" power and eject buttons are hard buttons that are in the "gap" where you normally hover over for power and eject. They actually "click".

First time Destiny player here, or at least I'd like to be before the end of the night.

I bought the physical copy today after work, but the update file will take about 14 hours to download.

Anyone else having any issues?

Nope. Just takes a while. You might try pausing and restarting your download. Doing this took quite a lot of time off of the download.

The Suros and vanguard guns are sold by the bot in the hanger. Yes, they are just uncommon weapons and are completely useless.

The gunsmiths test weapons outclass them. Terrible pre-order bonus.
