Germany Every Thing Will Be Fine (2015) Blu-ray 3D [Region Locked / Free] [forced subtitles]

Wim Wenders has made another 3D film, "Every Thing Will Be Fine," starring James Franco, Rachel McAdams, and Charlotte Gainsbourg. The few reviews I read weren't positive, but I'm curious to see how Wenders uses 3D in a drama.

Interview with Wenders from 2014, during shooting - He has some good thoughts on 3D.

I've been looking forward to this one, I always find James Franco a very watchable actor, and it sounds like an interesting setup for a film in a low-key sort of way. I hadn't heard about Wenders' Cathedrals film.

That's an excellent interview by the way. Very thoughtful and offers a lot of insight into the medium.

The movie got a lot of disappointed reviews at the German film festival. All of them talked about the use of 3D though which is a good sign. Several couldn't understand its significance to dramatic movies and another said it was distracting because the cinematography was so interesting but the movie was so slow.

Pina looked nice but the dancing didn't really hold my attention. I'm very curious to see this one and read a review by a 3d enthusiast who knows what he's looking at.

It's being released by Warner Bros, so most likely it will be region-free.

This film's been on my radar for some time, I hope I haven't missed the theatrical release.

I read an interview with director Wim Wenders about 3-D, and everything he had to say was insightful and inspiring. I've always found James Franco very engaging and it seems to be a strong cast.

Thanks Taygan for posting this.
Surprising this will be in 3D, considering the sad theme of the movie. An equally dark themed movie, The Machinist, which this reminds me of a little.

I don't mind these types of movies now and then as they sometimes give a new perspective on how these characters handle some of the worst situations in life.

Your welcome Zivouhr (and levcore)

I love The Machinist because I thought the story was gripping and kept you on edge and Bale's physical transformation for the character just blew me away

I was gonna wait for someone else to report back. This is completely not my kind of movie so i'll be waiting to hear a solid opinion on it and more importantly the 3D before i buy. I've got the German 3D disc in my saved items on Amazon.de.

I have this on order from Germany, I can't trust French blu-rays not to have forced subs... though if anyone does get it I'd be interested to know what the disc is like, I didn't actually see a 3D listing for this one on Amazon.fr

I'm going with the German one too, although the French one comes with a bonus disc with special features according to Amazon.

Planned for and shot in native 3-D, by a director with genuine enthusiasm for the format.
