Having a good time so far with TK. Got my first warlock to lvl 40. Stormcaller is so badass!

For whatever reason, my 2nd warlock didn't get the exclusive items that comes from the collector's edition (i.e. stormcaller bond, shader, emote). I see other people experiencing the same problem with it not carrying over to all characters over bungie.

Also, only received suros package for one of my characters. Do you only get it once? Where can I find the suros weapons pack?

Go to Eva Lavante by the speaker and check out the kiosks there to see if you can get your items.

The Suros pack is at the Vanguard Quartermaster. Lol this question has been asked so much we need a sticky!

I have the mission where i'm supposed to kill 2 Taken Commanders. I've killed at least 3 of them and haven't gotten credit for any.
I also have the 2 missions to fully level the Titan Striker and Defender class. They have been fully leveled for a year. They wont show to be completed. ?
I like the new game. G-Horn still works great, Vex is still good in Crusible, Benny can keep using the Faitbringer; it still blows up packs of thrawl.

Killing Taken Commanders has to be done in a Fireteam, can't solo it.

Also, Raid recommended light level will be 280 to answer a comment even higher up.

Made it to 286 light after two days off work. Got 12 coins off the Nightfall. Back to work today. Can't. Thinking. About. Destiny.

Yeah I am itching to play again. Stayed up till 2 playing. Arg.

For those of you excited to do the exotic quest Jolly Holiday. Don't be excited. It is worse, waaaaay worse than the Thorn bounty. Not sure if I am going to be able to do it, it seems impossible.

A pre joined group of friends? I assumed that a pack of us randoms was good enough. Guess i'll have to bug some friends here.

Picked up Destiny again last week to get ready for Taken King.

hoooooly crap Bungie knocked it out of the park with this expansion.

The new gear mechanic is brutal though.

I noticed this on the Destiny boards too everyone is in a big rush to get through all the new DLC stuff then what back to the grind?

I think that once I get my Titan to level 40 (still at level 34) I'm going to make my 2nd character and play through the beginning again.

yes, you have to actually be a part of a fireteam, not just a gaggle that was all on patrol at the same time

Some people have been waiting for a raid for 6 months and the raid comes out on Friday so yes, some people are anxious and in a hurry to get leveled up fast.

I'll be focusing on one character though and get it as high as possible to be ready for the raid

For those doing the Gunsmith quest and you need to dismantle rare or legendary guns , know that year 1 guns work. Glad I kept them for now

I understand some have been waiting a while for new content and IMO all the more reason to not rush through it.

The raid that is coming out on Friday is it like an Iron Banner thing where it is going to only be around this weekend?

No the raid will always be available and you have a week to complete it before it resets. Raid is like a strike on steroids and it's arguably the funnest part of the entire game. It involves having a fireteam of 6 and can last incredibly long. I think when Vault of Glass came out the first team that finished took them 12 hours since no one knew how the mechanics worked and now it can be completed in about an hour.

There are checkpoints along the way and that's what gets reset every week. It's also where you will find the best gear in the game, at least that's what it was in year 1.
