It looks interesting, though I'll wait for a price drop before picking this one up as I'm waiting for other games this year. MGSV, Mad Max, Fallout 4, Star Wars Battlefront, etc.

Every year I feel like I have AC burnout, but then something lures me back in.

Not me. I think I get burnt out because the games are so repetitive. Sure, the open world maps are large, but most of the time is spent in these games climbing and getting from point a to point b. The only thing that pulls me back in is the price drop to $20 and my curiosity to see the story end.

AC3 was very much point A to B and talk to this guy and then that guy, cutscene, to point B, cutscene for the first few hours anyway. I kept thinking, when are they going to give me some real gameplay action?

I know others have said AC4, Black Flag and maybe Unity are improvements over the lack of gameplay of AC3 early on.

The grappling hook, industrial age and choice of character has my attention along with the open city map.

I wonder if we'll be able to explore the land surrounding the city?

BF and Unity defiantly have a lot of gameplay. The missions are pretty much the same but you can tackle them differently with going stealth, guns blazing etc.

This game looks very fun. I'm sure the land will be available to us . Either as DLC like Unity and Dead King or from the start.

Despite some people's bad taste from Unity, I'm still looking forward to this. AC always has a soft spot in my heart.

However good the PS4 version is (and it seems the Sony machine is now the lead console platform) the PC version will look better, so i'm looking forward to giving my R9 380 a serious workout. We should be quietly thankfull that the biblical cockup that was Unity simply isn't going to happen again. No way would Ubi allow the same thing to happen.

Looks good. The enemies can take a lot of fists to the face before finally getting knocked out in AC Syndicate.

I read you can board the train in AC Syndicate as its moving as you could with Watch Dogs, which is a really cool feature IMO. GTAV, no interaction inside the subway train or ability to see your character as Rockstar offered in Red Dead Redemption, which did allow you to freely move within the train.

I agree with you. For some reason I think the burnout is real at $60 When its on the cheap, I might get it. But climbing up another building and running after another musical note or whatever they have just sounds like I've done it before.

Although, PSN sale, I'll be in

I read a whole new team is working on this game, separate from the one that worked on Unity, and there won't be a multiplayer mode, only singer player in Syndicate AC, so they're more focused on making it a better experience with less bugs hopefully.

Nice to learn it'll have a day/night cycle with weather if the report is right.

Oddly enough, they havent said much about the deluxe edition this year.....

I've been toying with the idea of a warmup for this by purchasing Rogue on PS3. I heard it was short, but great.

Multiple teams work on the AC game. There is alot of overlap and the same people from Unity will be doing parts of this as well.

Thanks. Game Informer mentioned the leading team as Ubisoft Quebec, so you're right that there are no doubt other teams lending a hand to them.
