Judging by the discussions I've seen from others, the interest in PayPal is so that they don't have to juggle finances right before shipping dates. |

Sh*t can happen between the time I preorder and the time the product ships. I rather they take their money up front. Plus, I tend to forget about pre-orders I do months in advance.

Not only that but with rightstuf especially you never know when they are going to ship the item out. There is always the chance that you won't have the money available when they decide to ship it out. Its much easier just to do the pre-order and get the money taken out when you place the order.

I like PayPal takes the money right away it saves the headache of having to always make sure the money is in the account. How ever I just found out with PayPal takes the money ones Rightstuf starts prossing the order for me it was a day after ording

I too would rather them not charge me till it ships. That is why I fought so hard to get those pre authorizations dropped. Thank goodness they were willing to compromise and stop doing them for the time being. Most of my anime buying is still with them.

I have credit cards yes but I like to know I have the money available to buy something in my bank account rather then just let it get thrown on a credit card that I may or may not be able to pay off immediately. There's always the possibility of something unexpected happening like a vehicle breaking down or a medical expense that I wasn't expecting. In that case it's nice to not have the money sitting on the credit card gathering interest instead of just being out of my bank account already and not having to worry about it. It may sound stupid but there it is.

I got my replacement cover last week, too. I was a little disappointed at the flimsy cardboard that was in the envelope. My replacement has a small crease in it, presumably from when the mailman shoved it into my mailbox.

Tangentially related: Amazon has cancelled my preorder for the Bandai S.H Figuarts Sailor V, due to a "lack of availability." Product page seems to have disappeared. Hope it comes back because I'd rather not try and track it down somewhere else.
