Not true, you can get atleast 2, I did and didnt even do the extra set on tuesday.

You can get more than 1 per character if your rank is higher than 1. I am rank 2 on my hunter and have 2 orders placed. So if you are rank 2 go get another package

I didn't know that, yea I'm only rank one because I have so little time to play and do everything that needs to be done. The game is just to overwhelming for me right now I only get a few hours a week to play this so I'm just way behind. I decide what I want to work on before I start and just do that before I log off.

The wife is really starting to dislike this Destiny game.

My one weapon is in the special weapons class but I can't remember what it was, I'm hoping it was a Sniper rifle.

I'm struggling with this quest of the striker where I need to get 7 orbs 3 times in a single strike. Typically the other people will toss a grenade into a group of enemies before I can use my special or the people I'm playing with will not generate orbs for me so I can recharge faster. I tried breaking off the other members to complete this on my own but when they see me do this they leave the room.

Try doing it out the Omnigul Strike I had alot of luck on that one since there are so many enemies. I completed my Hunter class that way.

Do it with some friends on a earth strike and super the 3 in the subway at the start of the patrol area.

I can't recall specifically how I did it, but I know we did these as a team. Trying to complete these quests that require strikes is near impossible with randoms.

How have you guys gone about completing this section of the quest?

We were able to do that part of the Quest by doing a strike together, so that randoms weren't a problem.
We did it on the Cosmodrome strike with the Servitor. (Sepiks Prime)
There's a war going on between the Hive and the Fallen where you start the Strike.
In one of the corners, there are 3 yellow enemies that you can earn up to 9 orbs by killing them with a Titan striker.
You can also complete the Ward of Dawn part of the Quest there where you have to kill 30 enemies while under the effect of Weapons/Blessings of Light.
When you kill the Servitor at the end, you'll get credit for completing both Quest lines.

Yea, when pigs fly. The only game I can remember her playing a lot was The Sims over a decade ago. Anymore it's all Facebook, that cooking show Chopped & Ju-Jitsu anything else is a waste of time.

With my limited availability I don't know how feasible this is, believe me I'd prefer to do it this way.

Do you aim at the feet? That's what I always do, especially when I'm at a distance so if it misses it'll still detonate close. Better to get some damage than none.

On another note, I haven't had a lot of time to play so I'm still only at 216 on my highest character. I had a heck of a time killing that

with a blue 219 dmg rocket launcher. Unloaded all 5 of my rockets after popping a heavy and I still had to switch to my primary/secondary afterward to take him out. So next time around on a different character I loaded up Gjally and he was down with 3 (or maybe it was 4) rockets. At my current level, I'm also still finding Fategbringer more useful than a 244 dmg Down And Out 00-0 Hand Cannon (my highest dmg weapon so far). Now I'm waiting for you 280+ gurus here to tell me I'm doing something wrong . Out of choice I haven't read squat on leveling other than what's posted in this thread (I haven't been clicking links, either).

I got a random invite last night from a guy while I was running through the area. I joined their party chat of 5 and then two of them jumped into my fire team. Basically we had a 6 man team going at the Court. All of us were 285 or better and were able to run through the levels. When I finally went back to the tower I had 20+ engrams at the postmaster and a full inventory.

The bad thing is that I needed to turn in the bounty for the runes at the tower. So after completing I don't know how many Antiquated Rune's I get back to the tower and receive a bounty to complete an Antiquated Rune.

Got our feet wet on our first try at raid last night. Not bad actually, got to the Ogre pretty easily but then it was like 3am for some our easterners so they had to wuzz into bed

Least I got a 300+ ghost! oh and was able to finish up my court of oryx and get a 300 artifact although I got like 4 298 artifacts from farming the blues lol

It was yesterday morning when I tried it. I just tried it now with my son's account and it didn't work so they must have yanked it some time yesterday. It was only 3 strange coins anyway. But I would'a thought that "3 of coins" sounding something like "9 pieces of 8" from that Pirate movie franchise, it would have made more sense to give us "4 pieces of 3 of Coins" or something on Pirate day. Evidently they arrrrrr out of their minds.
