Anyone who says the Director's Cut version of Kingdom of Heaven is automatically 100% correct.

For a more serious answer, I'd nominate Cloud Atlas as an epic.

I third (looking at posts above fourth?) Cloud Atlas, I think it fits the definition very well, and when I intially saw it at a free preview I told one of my coworkers if I were to sum it up in one word it was "epic."
