Seems that's the case. Also Universal Studios? Now Jurassic World 3D is "Currently Unavailable" too.

Edit: The Jurassic World 3D link was moved to a "Collectible Round Tin" edition page that is active.

This is kind of stupid, though. I'm about to cancel my order with Amazon and order from Best Buy, to avoid this stupid mark-up. That doesn't hurt Fox; but it does take a sale from Amazon.

The last time this happened with Warner Brothers they shipped all the pre-orders at the price you locked in when you ordered it. They also started selling it day of release. They just stopped taking pre-orders for awhile. Your price on the order will hold.

Is this remake just as good as the original but in its own way, or is it a step down in terms of style and storytelling? Is it scary? So far, the 3D sounds like it was nicely done.

The original was a little bit scary but Poltergeist 2 really scared me as a kid when I saw it, thanks to that evil old Preacher guy and I enjoy the scene where the father eats the worm in the glass; wow that was crazy what happened after that. Poltergeist 3 was entertaining for the most part with a few jump scares.

With the disclaimer in mind that I think the original is highly overrated and not scary: No, this remake is still not as good as the first one. It actually has a lot of the same problems (overreliance on special effects, lack of real scares, odd tonal clash between family-friendliness and horror) but is also shorter, rushed, and missing the nice characterization the original had. The cinematography is okay but inferior compared to the original.

Thanks for spotting that, I had the French one on order but have now cancelled that and ordered the Spanish one, figured I may as well get Futbolin at the same time and save on the postage...

If anyone else is considering the Spanish version then I highly recommend adding the 3D blu of Torrente 4 to your basket...

Torrente 4: Lethal Crisis is a low-brow bad-taste Spanish comedy about a sleazy, corrupt detective played by Santiago Segura. The series is immensely popular in Spain and is up to its fifth instalment now, though 4 is the only one in 3D. It's natively shot and uses the format really well, with plenty of pop-outs designed for comedy or gross-out effect. The disc has English subtitles and is one of my top 3D comedies of all time.

Hmmm...no one even questioning why this title is not available for purchase? Not Amazon (not even 2D), not Target, and the Best Buy pre-order elicits a message "There's a problem adding to cart." Guess there is zero interest in this movie.

The only reason I refuse to pre-order this is because I want the 3D movie on release day and I do not want to pay $14.99 shipping for release day delivery.
Will either pick it up at the local store or wait until FREE "Store Pickup" is activated for Pre-Order.

It would seem that the release date may have been changed. Checking the Target site, it comes up as October 9th!

Not having any problems with pre-orders at BestBuy.
Release date is still 09/29/2015 for both Blu-ray 3D package versions.

Even DVDs Release dates.com maintains the 9-29-15 release date.

I pre-ordered from Foxconnect and they already shipped it. I do not think the date has changed.
