I told my daughter we would go see it but we never did. She is looking forward to it coming out. She is 3 and with it having no dialogue for the first 20 minutes or so I wasn't sure how she would do in the theatre. November will be here soon enough.

Gamecrapping.com has a short vacuum cleaner vignette on Wall*E that has amazing PQ, possibly the best I've seen (up there with Grendal from Beowulf).
http://gamecrapping.com/Movie_html/WALL-E.htm You can download it directly onto your PS3 rather than trying to watch it online and face a buffering nightmare. |

We took our Three year-old to see it and he was mesmerized by it. More so than kung-fu panda. If it is still playing near you, I recommend seeing it on the big screen.

Pixar movies have the potential to look great on Blu. They are must-buy in my opinion. Pixar is the only studio whose Cinema releases I plan to get on Bluray and I mean all of them.

It would be better on blu if the theater where you saw the movie was crappy.
I watch a decent number of movies at commercial movie theaters. But I go out of my way to take my business to well operated movie theaters. Lots of people just drive to a badly operated theater because it's nearest to where they live or conveniently located in a mall. |

I've now seen Wall-E more times than any other movie in its original theatrical run...and I'm 32 years old. I've paid to see it 5 times now, and plan on going at least once more before it leaves the cinema. Ironically, the previous record-holder has been mentioned in this thread: The Nightmare Before Christmas (which I saw 3 times during its original run).
SkullPhyre: It's closer to 40 minutes virtually dialogue-free. Unless your 3-year-old is very patient, you might find her squirming and getting a bit lost. It's amazing visual storytelling, but I have a friend whose 5-year-old son was losing the plot a bit and went into full-on chat mode after about 20 minutes. To say this is a day 1 purchase for me is an understatement...this is my most-anticipated Blu-ray release ever. |

When I saw it in the theater all the kids were sitting there, quietly, with their eyes popping out and their mouths hanging open. I'd bet your daughter is going to love it.

Wall-E's gonna be an amazing Blu-ray. Just think about the fact that they're devoting pretty much an entire BD-50 to just the film, a simple short film, and an audio commentary (plus probably some trailers). So, it's gonna look and sound amazing with TrueHD. Other than this, I think Dark Knight is the only one I see coming close to beating this in terms of quality (simply cause of the use of IMAX cameras).
