Hi!, indeed has been replaced with the recent logo.

Look my screenshot of Aladdin Diamond Edition blu-ray:

Looks like Aladdin's releasing here the same way it did in the UK, only with a different audio track.

I'm only curious how the video quality compares to the UK release, since I've had the UK release for quite some time.

Beyond that, I have no issues with a film being released in its theatrical aspect ratio.

Look this video example ripped from my Aladdin Diamond Edition blu-ray.

I hate replaced logos, but I assumed it would be replaced on Aladdin. They only seem to keep the original ones intact for the poorly selling catalog titles from that film period. So Hunchback and Pocahontas remain untouched (logo wise)

So here's a question, even though Aladdin's widely popular with the public, have you guys felt/think of Genie's shape shiftin antics date the film?

This should make Disney quake in their boots if they're thinking of releasing the UOT of Star Wars on blu!

It should. I know it's happened with every release. It usually doesn't happen till week before. But if it doesn't drop in price that settles which version I'm getting.

I'm surprised nobody on here mentioned this yet, but today is Scott Weinger's 40th birthday.

I locked in my pre-order price of $19.99 for the Best Buy version on 9/21. I am sure that will be the price on release week. I am surprised we haven't seen an ad scan for next weeks ad already.

Man what a busy month of blu purchases. Avengers last week, Aladdin and Tomorrowland next week and then Jurassic World the week after.

I think part of that also has to do with the fact that the original logos were synced to music as well.

Anyone have a favorite Genie Outtake?

Mine was the end one, with Robin lampshading (TvTropes lingo for offhand commenting on something previous) his usual comedy, followed by mimicking police. Plus a Fantasia reference!

"Not since the dancing mushrooms have we seen this much intensity."

I've got it. It works. I use an iPad and had to download all the content as an app, so it's all here.

The Flash version, on the other hand, is a Cheshire Cat. It's not all there.

Its bad with The Lion King and Toy Story where the new logo cuts off the original audio. I really hope they don't do it with any of the ones with unique castle logos like Lilo & Stitch.
