I liked this quest line so far. It was intense doing it by myself last night. I am glad that I had heavy ammo packs for both parts. The 1st part I basically pulled them to the corner and took them out with my sword 1 by 1. Then I finished up the boss. I guess with a 3 man team someone could have watched the keyboard sequence for the next part of the quest. I didn't have that option. Luckily it was posted on the forum, thanks for that.

When climbing the tower I just ran by everything and let my 290 solar machine gun finish off the level for me. I did have to use my tether once to give me some room to reload.

yea i finished everything except the warsats. didnt find a single one after 1.5hrs on earth. i dont think the public event tracker works anymore

yeah, i'm baffled by people claiming problems with the event tracker. I haven't had any issues at all.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the Sleeper Simulant quest should have been much more than just RNG dropping Fusion Rifles, completing 2 missions, beating a couple of warsats, and doing a strike.

I wanted to travel the galaxy, fuel a frame with Calcified Fragments, enter an unknown location on Mars and find a warmind, slay foes in a new area of The Archive, etc., etc.

Blame the casuals for that one. Bungie didnt want anothe Gjallarhorn so pretty sure thats why they made it pretty easy to get.

Well I wouldn't have even know what to do if codes and basically a complete walkthrough of what I needed to be done was not on the net.

I think it is, or will be easier for me because someone else already did all the "hard work". Honestly I have so many quests going on right now I wouldn't have even attempted to do that mission last night because I would have just assumed it belonged to one of my other existing quests. Same deal with the Black Spindle or that 3 ghosts thing in the VOG.

Actually, I think they should try it, just to prove a point. Then publish success rate of matchmade fireteams, which should be about 0.0000001%.

I tried using that on Earth and Mars for over an hour last night and never had one pop. I would give the timer 2-3 minutes after start time before I would move on to the next area.

That might explain it but I know I was wondering around some of the areas farming materials for quit a while. I will give it another go tonight and hang out longer.

Was working for me last night, was just never a warsat. Kill mob, clear zones etc.

i waited 10min for the ones that could possibly be a warsat. did that for 1.5hrs and only got 1 public event which of course was kill the vip.

so i dont know what the deal is with the tracker. probably would have been better to just drive around the whole time
