After stopping in Target yesterday I'm not sure which edition to get. I was set on the digibook, which looked nice and collectible, but I liked the look of the regular slipcover in person, with the rainbow shiny effect helping overcome the lame oval design. I have no digibooks for any of the animated classics, no 3D editions (for any animated movies actually), and just 1 lenticular (Sleeping Beauty), they're nearly all the regular editions. So I'm thinking of leaning toward the regular to match, and that way the Big 4 will all be similar (except for that darned oval). The digibook does look quite handsome though. I'm not one for digibooks, but these Disney ones are cool, and I initially wanted a full art cover without the silver oval. Ah, f*** me!

I have around the same amount of points. I think I'm going to hold on to them and see if they have any Star Wars stuff later in the year. I missed out on that poster they offered earlier in the year so I'm hoping that might come back. But to be honest, there isn't really a lot on DMR that interests me so I typically just build up points.

Picked up my Lenti today and it looks great! Doesn't look like there are too many left around here in Chicago. Should all be gone by the end of the week or even tomorrow.

It must have been over 17 years since I last saw the movie. And every line, melody and sound effect still resonates in my head before they even happened (especially that bird quack during A Whole New World). Would be lying if I said there weren't any tears when revisiting this flick.

Second time I've been made to call BestBuy corporate to have the price re-adjusted. Disappointing service.

Went to Best Buy to get the Lenticular cover and was completely sold out, so I just went with the standard edition. Totally wasn't expecting that to sell out THAT quickly.

Yeah, it's only been the most anticipated remaining U.S. Disney release on Blu-ray.

Nothing major.

Has anyone else noticed that Target forgot to include "Diamond Edition" on the digibook cover below the title of Aladdin, as they had initially proposed it in their stock photo? When I first glanced at it in store, something felt missing compared to Target's previous 3 digibooks with Peter Pan, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid...and it was indeed the words of "Diamond Edition." Went with Best Buy's exclusive lenticular cover instead!

Here's a shot I posted to my Instagram feed of my Target Disney Blu-ray storybook set.

https://instagram.com/p/81Fcj_tfYU/

I've only watched The Genie Outtakes so far. But I've been reading here about the PQ of the Tomorrowland trailer and the movie. Looking forward to finding some time soon to see them for myself. But obviously, I was anxious to get my copy of Aladdin to keep building on my set.

Great example of what I stated earlier in regards to Aladdin digibook missing the words "Diamond Edition" on the cover. Otherwise beautiful looking cover. Awesome collection btw!

Song of the South isn't even anticipated. Iger has told us time and again that, as long as he's in charge, we won't see a release of Song of the South.

Dead Poets Society, Treasure Planet, The Jungle Book, Up, John Carter. That's just a handful to choose from, assuming you even use your points for movies.

yeah, we have to wait till that BIGOT is gone from DISNEY, but the younger BIGOTS who had their minds warped as a kid to the truth will probably replace him. So the non-bigot film fans will probably be screwed to never getting the film

Default Watching Aladdin's Bonuses... In Progress

Genie 101: Funny AND informative! My favorite joke is as thus:
*Scott Weinger is giving us Genie's animal impressions, minus those found in "Prince Ali"*
There's a lamb,
bee,
pink bunny,
and a pink elephant. *Shows us the pink elephants from Dumbo*
(He meant a Pink Dragon.)

Checking the DVD's Trailers, there's an extra one for The Muppets on ABC. No more.
There's also all the Deleted Songs/Scenes (minus "My Finest Hour").

Unboxing Aladdin: Your enjoyment level is based on how you handled "Dalmatians 101". It acutally has funnier jokes to appease the masses. (He says "I wanna be where the people are" to a stuffed Sebastian, and also gets 3 wishes He wastes the three on models of characters so he's too late to wish for World Peace.)

On the BD in the Sneak Peaks section, there's the first trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens!
