Yes. Been an online moniker for over a decade now. I'm rather predictable like that.

You actually need to purchase a membership of $25 per year to be allowed to sell things, which I think is sort of silly, but understandable.

Anyone can buy stuff though, of course.

Yep, I bought Bane no problem. Which, I am happy to report, I get to keep him after my brake incident a few weeks ago. But I think you have to have at least ten posts within the first 30 days and some other requirement in order to sell.

They don't want it to just be a marketplace. I can't blame them. I'm on there as well. At the very least, you can see some outstanding pics of the figures when people receive them.

Received my Man of Steel & Jor-El today, they look incredible ! But I am running out of room, I need some new shelves. I use IKEA's Billy for all my steelbooks & smaller figurines, not sure if the HT's will look good in them aswell, although I could buy some LED and place it inside the Billy wich might look cool with them... we'll see...

Better look at the Star Ace Selene figure.

She'll come with a deluxe base that features a freshly killed Lycan with removable knife.

I still don't care for that Selene at all, from the sculpted hair all the way down to her boots, it all looks "off" to me. The face isn't detailed or lifelike imo and the body has all kinds of problems, but that may be just how they have her posed. I'll have to wait and see production pics or in-hand pics I guess. I mean, look at the pic to the left of her and then look at the figure, it's disappointing to me. Women figures, from how to do the hair, to making the face sculpt feminine, are definitely the hardest figures to do though.

It's a very early prototype...everything is on a static body too. It'll look perfect once it goes to production.

Hardest thing with these figures nowadays is not just getting the sculpt right, but also whether to go with sculpted or rooted hair. I think the problem here is Star Ace doesn't use the same kind of paint as Hot Toys when it comes to hair. The face has a realistic skin look, but the hair never looks as good.

But yeah, that being an early prototype says it all. It'll be better.

Star Ace's best work to date IMO. If they kept this type of quality up they can easily be top dog alongside Hot Toys.

Can a plastic figure look like it's had plastic surgery?

I haven't posted in awhile, if any of you remember me from Starkiller's Star Wars thread or the other movie/figurine threads you guys will know I'm mainly a Sideshow Statue collector but I finally made my first Hot Toys purchase and went the Battle Damaged Terminator from T1. I've always been a huge Arnie fan my entire life and I figured it was finally time to get a high end collectible of him.

I am trying to change hands but I can't get these ''things'' out of the other hands, does anyone else have this problem? Any idea how to get them out easily? Feels as if they are stuck or something.

Yours didn't come with extra pegs? One of mine has this problem (original Red and Blue Spidey) and what I did was, I used a rag to wrap up the peg then pulled gently with some pliers. When pulling on the peg use an outward circular motion. After I got the peg out, I dabbed a tiny bit of petroleum jelly to act as a lubricant between the forearm socket and the peg.

Use a hair dryer. Any time you have a problem with pegs that's your go-to.

Warm up the socket a bit on medium heat for a few seconds and you'll have no issues.
