The two largest cinema chains, Regal and Cinemark, along with many smaller ones like Carmike, are NOT playing the movie, period, in any of their locations. Since there are large pockets of population where the chains don't overlap, this effectively locks big blocks of the country out of seeing the movie (i.e., Faydar's 109 mile drive, or my need to drive halfway across the state). So unlike a normal "moderate" release, someone in an area with a lot of AMC/Showcases won't notice a difference, whereas people stuck with other chains all around them won't be able to go see it at all.
I thought AMC was the second biggest chain. But yeah, it will depend on area, for instance I have no Carmike or Cinemark here, and only a couple Regals, while AMC dominates the market, so seems no different than Marked Ones (actually theater closest to me- within walking distance- is an AMC, but still aren't currently listed to show this film, nor showed Marked Ones either).

Still, as I said, quite possible the list up now is not every theater as I've often seen films get added to a theater's schedule a couple days prior to release. Hopefully, Paramount can make deals with small chains or independent theaters to fill gaps in areas dominated by one of the boycotting chains.
