I got tickets last night. Only took 2 hours on the Cinemark site. Nothing would load at least I got them and in premium seating to boot. I would have preferred IMAX but they dont do reserved seating there so I will wait a few days and go see it again. So stoked!!!!

George Lucas hasn't been relevant since about Last Crusade. That's the last positive thing he's been involved with.

Really?

Sites were down, put on my shoes, kissed my wife, got in the car, drove to theater...

Got tickets in laser for 9:45 on Thursday, bought marathon tickets just to see Star Wars and Empire on the big screen...came home. Kissed wife again. Watched trailer. Went to bed.

Easy.

Speaking of work time wasted, I wonder how many people will be calling out sick the 17th or 18th...

Hmmm...could there be some foreshadowing in this trailer? Poe is shown after Han states "the Dark Side" and then Finn is shown right after he says "a Jedi"

I think it is safe to assume that Finn becomes a Jedi since we've seen him with a lightsaber...could Kylo Ren have done something to Poe to make him start going towards the Dark Side?

I've already marked it on the calendar at work. So I have first dibs technically. I will be calling out the 18th, and getting in line early on the 17th.

I'm not sure if any of my places here are doing the marathon or not.

I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm seeing it in Times square of all places and I have to save 4 other seats. This is going to be rough

i'm to low on the seniority list for vacation here @ work......i didn't get the 2 weeks off at christmas like i wanted to.

so i decided to take every friday off in December instead. burned 3 days of vacation and also have off the 25th and 1st as well as a paid holidays.

so i have 4 day weeks for 5 weeks in a row.

thinking i'll hit a midnight showing if there is one on the 17th and then if it's as awesome as i'm hoping it will be, i may just go see a matinee.....again if they have one....on the 18th by myself while the kids are at school.

How? When I click on the 1080p link it just takes me to the apple site. If I right click the link I'm not given an option to save as.

The IMAX laser locations will include the full screen filling 1.43 aspect ratio in 3D. The digital locations will be cropped to 1.9, nor will they be able to fill the screen in most formerly 15/70 locations which have yet to convert to laser (such as Lincoln Square and BFI).
