I'm the same.

I don't work at home though, I take transit everywhere.

I drive a 2004 Nissan Titan SE with a lift and 325/60/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Also have about $5000 into the A/V setup. JL Audio 13W7 subwoofer with JL Audio 1000/1 amp, Alpine 5.1 setup, with Pioneer 7" in-dash DVD touchscreen, and lastly a reverse camera.(Works so nicely with the limo tint at night. You can see EVERYTHING at night!)

I kind of own a 350z, but I haven't driven it in three years, since it was in an accident. The insurance company decided it was fixable, which it wasn't, and after the "repairs" the car is still all jacked up. So I'm suing the insurance company. I had an 06 Evo IX SE for awhile, but I sold it after I got my company car, a Scion Xb. The Evo was a lot of fun. After the Z fiasco is over I'll probably be looking into WRX's, STI's, or, if the money is right, a BMW 335i.

I have a 1998 Nissan Sentra. It's got a crack in the front windshield, the felt on the roof is falling on my head, the weather stripping on the drivers door has come loose, the rear driver side door is superglued shut, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Great gas mileage, only 73,000 miles on it, good pick up and go, and the factory speakers still sound good.

I got it to replace my old 1984 Ford F-150 with 300,000 miles on it. The truck still runs, but it is seriously showing it's age. The carbeurator (sp?) was clogged with gunk from the fuel, wiring had dry rotted from extreme age and it was causing problems, the AC didn't work (and in new orleans, AC is king over gas mileage), and it didn't have a CD player.

I haven't looked back since I traded up to my new(er) car! I don't really have a dream car, I'm only in it 10-15 minutes each way to work, so I just got something cheap, efficient, and in good condition. I don't see the point in getting a jaguar, corvette Z06, or anything that actually costs me more then my house payment a month in insurance. (I've driven those cars, and man, are they fun, but again, I'm not on the road enough for it to be worth having something sporty like that)

1979 Mercedes 300 SD
2004 Toyota Camry XLE
2002 Chevy Silverado LT

Each has its purpose and use. The truck with 4WD for winter. The Camry is the main trip vehicle. The Mercedes is a standby vehicle in case a solar mass ejection wipes out all electronics.

For unrelated reasons, my wife & I both ended up with brand new 2006 Camry’s, about 2 months apart.

Comfy, quiet, safe, good gas mileage, lots of room…I’m quite happy with our choice.

I drive an 05 EVO VIII and i love the performance, but HATE the maintenance.
My wife drives an 07 civic SI.

Tried to get into racing a few years back but it is TOO expensive. Mostly just autocross which is ALOT of fun. If you got pix, post them. No offense, but I do not want this thread to go to the " what is your dream ride",unless you do drive it. I guess I just want to see who the car guys and girls are here. Ive seen a few profiles stating they like hondas, I assume for performance.
2007 Ford 500, lease vehicle, with 52k miles on it. I get a new car every 60k miles, so I am leaning toward a 2009 Toyota Camry.

2000 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab

it's a gas guzzling hog but is tougher than beef jerkey!! actually got a call from the salesman i bought it from yesterday wishing it a happy 3rd birthday. i went to school w/the kid so it's not quite that weird.

in the 3 years i've had it, i've put less than 15,000 miles on it, that's how crappy the gas mileage is on it, i might as well have bought a full size.
