The time you have depends on when the guy with the countdown kills adds. Need to only kill an add when 2 or 3 seconds remain.

well, it was Kyle and John that seemed to be responsible for that most of the time......so you can see why we weren't quite as efficient as we could have been.

King's Fall was trolling last night. Daughters never turning around. Relics disappearing from platforms or not transferring. Everything prior took one or two attempts, then a screeching halt at the easy part. Even one demo run at Oryx just to show the noob before quitting was almost a good run.

OTOH, Warlock sits nicely at 308, appropriately equipped. I'd rather wear the old boots for the sniper ammo perk but I lose a light level.

Couple of things for you fellas:





May be the first on this here forum to get this one...crap. Looks like I better not play today. Can never be the first to do stuff.

Also finally crossed into the sub-hour mark for the raid - did two last night with my clan/crew, 65 and 59 minutes. Probably can get it down to 50 without going for the 3 extra chests....

For war priest, you should only be hitting him with high impact snipers. If/when you run out of ammo, swap to MG. Always have at least one Hunter to tether, preferably two.

i've all but given up on rocket launchers in The Taken King.

i learned just how much i relied on tracking and got a serious reality check within the 1st couple of missions. i couldn't hit the side of a barn w/a RL now unless it was 5 feet in front of me.

i've sent so many rockets off into oblivion since the dlc dropped.

Phew. Now I no longer feel like a try hard. I'm also still missing the Jade Rabbit and two swords and one exotic secondary I can't quite place...

How are you liking the NTTE? I haven't gotten the feel for it yet, I used it in the "Charge Up The Door" part of the raid to some success.

As for the Last Curse, haven't even fired a round. Too many weapons.

I did the daily last night, solo'd it and finished the damn thing! I also switched from Dead Orbit to FWC on my Warlock...I'll start accumulating weaponry and legendary marks to start earning FWC stuff, on top of ranking up some legendary gear I got yesterday when I finished the daily as well...

got the ghosts in the daily last night, and turned in the shell, guess I'll have to wait till next week for the rest of the quest.
did the nightfall in like 12min. man that was easy. got a 304 sidearm. infused into my backup void sniper.

hoping to get my exotic arc sword tonight. anyone else need to do it, or that can help? I'll be on around 8pm central.


after i get the sword my weakest link will be my ghost, its still sitting at 293. cant seem to get the raid ghost to drop, ive got all the armor now. i might end up running a normal raid on thursday night just for another shot at the ghost.

I don't have a Machine Gun = 0, never gotten one to drop from engrams well no other than 260's blues. I seriously need to buy one I guess I've gotten two rocket launchers, one shotgun, one pulse rifle and two Auto Rifles from Dead Orbit ranks. I've also never had a purple legendary turn into an exotic, so my decryption luck is crap.

I'll just put melt my Raid rocket launcher into my Sleeper and just keep that and my legendary sword in my heavy weapon slots.

I think I've got the quest for The First Curse, I'll find out today because I'm currently waiting for Tex in a quest.

The No Time To Explain is waiting for me to do that VOG step, honestly I'm in no hurry because I don't see me leaving my Jade Rabbit. I can see these two sitting in my vault for whenever I get around to creating a second character.

I got and exotic drop last night after killing the Taken Minotaur it turn out to be a 290 Last Word so I can try that Chaperone quest now. However I'm going to focus on ToM and my exotic sword the rest will just be collecting dust in my vault anyways.

the secondary you're missing is probably chaperone.

I find Red Death to be invaluable during the raid. I use red death/1000-yard stare (sometimes black spindle for ogre/warpriest but its overkill), and raid machine gun. i'll swap in touch of malice for sisters. if you don't have the raid machine gun yet, Ruin Wake from the crucible quartermaster is similar. haven't seen anyone using sleeper on raid, seems like a waste of an exotic slot.
