Default PS3 Headsets

I know that you can use bluetooth with the ps3 and madden. I've actually linked my bluetooth once to my unit. I can always pair it, but it doesn't seem to do anything once I pair it. Is there something you have to do special with it? The only instructions I see only show how to pair.

Is there anything you have to do special to get it to work with madden 07? I've heard you have to relink everytime you power up the system?

Any truth? or any other insight would be appreciated.

Thanks,

greekjgg

You Dont Have To Pair Them Everytime you turn it on. Sony fixed that with the 1.80 update you just have to turn on your system and then turn on you headset. but as far as the madden issue ive never used my headset on madden but there might be a headset option in the menu of the game like in Resistance

greekjgg - after you've paired the headset, in the XMB go to:

Settings > Accessory Settings > Audio Device Settings

And check that the Input and Output device is set to your headset.

Yes, it will be under system settings. Add headset. You will have the option to identify it as USB.

I have a Motorolla HS850 Bluetooth headset but it doesn't appear to always work on the output side of things. It may have to do with the input output as mentioned above. Is there a push to talk feature that needs to be used in RFOM? Any suggestions for an upgrade on the headset?

I think RFOM's either L3 or R3 to talk.
