Didn't like this one too much, thought a lot of it came off desperate. Might pick it up cheaper eventually.

Unfortunately, it's going straight-to-DVD here, which is a bummer because it won Sundance and is probably my most anticipated movie right now. I was really looking forward to it, but then the distributor canceled its theatrical release

Pre-ordered the british blu-ray. Can't wait to see it.

I'm interested in seeing this, but that poster made me smile;

Eh, that little indie studio that could, 20th Century Fox?

Well, I guess they're technically Fox Searchlight titles

Great film, at one point i thought it was a shoe-in for awards but it appears its completely fallen off the face of the planet, which is a pity.

If there was a film that should appeal to the hardcore cinema lovers/blu-ray collector its this one.

It came out in theatres? I went to see it on a preview and then it was officially released, unless it just didn't make it to your local?

The current 3.5* rating on Amazon deserves to be amended.

It's still available through Zavvi, but Amazon sent me an email saying that they cancelled my order because they're not selling the item anymore.

Really hope this release isn't cancelled

Looks like they just removed the listing and will probably just list it again.

Indeed there's another listing for the Blu-ray on Amazon, just without a release date/pre-order yet (sometimes takes a while): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Me-Earl-Dyin.../dp/B014G4SAT8

If they end up listing it again, that'll be pretty stupid. Why not just keep the original listing? Going around cancelling orders just for the hell of it doesn't make any sense

Well presumably you can re-order it once it's up? No idea why they'd delete the listing - it could be Fox's faults or Amazon's. Best thing to do would just be to wait and see if it shows up for pre-order again until you complain.

Currently listed on Amazon for DVD release on 11th January. Guess they assume it won't sell too well.

i hope the Blu-ray does pop up again, considering the USA edition is region locked and how much i loved this film, it'll be such a disappointment if i can't get this on Blu-ray.

It's still up on Zavvi, but there's no artwork for it, so I guess it really got cancelled... Which is a shame.

First, they didn't release The Final Girls on Blu-Ray, now this...

No Blu-ray to be found, i thought i would swallow my pride and pick up the DVD at Sainsbury's only to find they didn't even stock it, my local indie record store didn't have a copy or WHSmiths. Thankfully i just picked up a region free player so i'll import the USA blu ray version. Such a shame for one of the best films of last year in my opinion.

Couldn't find a DVD copy in HMV. Only want this for the extras and maybe for a rewatch; shame the US Blu-ray is encoded as Region A.
