Off topic, but Sally Field was 21 when The Flying Nun first aired. In late 2007, when Jennifer Love Hewitt was 28 (she could've passed for 18 to 21 back then), she did a photo shoot that was a tribute to The Flying Nun for it's 40th anniversary. Like Jennifer, Sally could've passed for 15 at 21 and 18 to 21 at 28.

She wore a nun uniform just like Sister Bertrille's from the hip up (including the cornette that allowed Sister Bertrille to fly) and boots just like Sister Bertrille's (JLove was wearing blue denim jeans in between). Sister Else Bertrille (who's real name was Else Ethington) was Sally's character on The Flying Nun.

Next to Jennifer was an enlarged copy of the front cover of The TV Guide from late 1967 with Sally as Sister Bertrille.

Apparently, The Flying Nun is 1 of Jennifer's personal favorites. It was also 1 of her mother Pat Hewitt's personal favorites. Sadly, Pat passed away from cancer in 2012 within a month after her 67th birthday.
