Redline came out a few years ago. It's the forgotten release.

With Plain releasing Frank, I wonder if they're gonna try to acquire that director's new movie Room, which is probably my (and judging from the movie thread, possibly Jacob's) favorite movie of the year so far

Room certainly feels like a movie Plain would release. I was not in love with it, but it's certainly grown on me a bit since seeing it.

Ex Machina and Carol are my favorites so far this year. A Plain release of Carol would be amazing.

Unfortunately someone on facebook asked if they'd be releasing Carol and they said no, as the rights were too expensive. They also informed me that someone else already picked up Room for distribution so they won't be releasing it either

They pretty much don't exist. I've been looking for a while now.

It's about 1200, but they were never sold outside of Korea. Very hard to get a hold of just like most DVDprime titles. People just never sell these things.

Talk about a release out of left field. Absolutely stunning though.

Haven't seen the film. Love Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy. The design is beautiful.

But why is the year the film released on the spine?! That's strange.

I'd say since most books that have that type of spine are numbered, even with a year date.

For Example, the first book on the left

Hmmm, pretty sure I saw this but don't remember it leaving an impression so may or may not get this. A re-watch might be in order to determine it.

Indeed. I remember not particularly liking the film. But the design is beautiful.

I have been wanting to pick up something from Plain and I'm just waiting for the "gotta have it" moment. I have searched the forums and cannot seem to find what kind of cost customs involves? Does anyone have an estimate on this for shipping to the US? The cheap shipping option is reasonable, I just hope not to get knocked over by a surprise charge for importing.

I've personally never had a customs charge from a Plain order

I love Anne Hathaway and that packaging is stunning but I think the movie is just OK. Beautiful as it is, I'll probably pass.

You wont have any customs problems in the US.
