While neither are toward the top of my want list, I agree that having both on Blu would be great. The Hitcher sits a bit Higher than Silver Bullet on my want list, but both would be worthy additions.

For Halloween's announcement, I have my fingers crosses for a collector's edition of Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama. They've released plenty of Empire pictures so far. Robot Wars or Crash and Burn would also be welcomed.

I have a feeling it's either going to be Village of the Damned or The Thing. Wouldn't mind either since they've done Carpenter pretty good in my eyes.

If you're Region B or Region Free, it's coming out on Blu in Australia soon

As Charlie Brown would say, "RATS."

Think BIGGER

They saved the last announcement for Halloween. It's gotta be a big set (fingers crossed for Phantasm) or a deal with another studio (Sony, Paramount or, least likely, Lionsgate). I want to be really wowed today

All of those are with Full Moon, not MGM. If anyone will release them, it'll be Full Moon.

Well here is the list of "key"titles they havent been able to get or recently said they couldnt
Blood Beach, Jaws Sequels, Childs Play, Phantasm

I seriously doubt about a deal with either Lionsgate and Paramount - all of Paramounts key horror titles are with Warner until 2017 now.

The only way Shout will get a Lionsgate title is if Lionsgate loses the rights and does not renew.

Ill stick with either Curse 1 and 2, The Thing , The Fly II as my guesses or maybe even Legion

These would be my surprise title announcements
Alligator
Fright Night II
Near Dark
Hello Mary Lou Prom Night II

Why do I keep thinking Paramount titles are off the table? I just got a batch of Paramount movies from Olive so Paramount is obviously willing to license. Gonna have to go through imdb to look for a list of potential titles. I'd love to see Scream Factory BDs of April Fool's Day, Orca or Let's Scare Jessica To Death. Any others? I know Paramount was one of the major studios who were churning out slasher movies during the post-Friday the 13th bandwagon boom. Silver Bullet was mentioned earlier - that would be nice too

Given those tweets I'm expecting Legion now. That would definitely be a huge release.

That's interesting news about Legion being with MC and not WB.

I'm still betting on The Thing. It makes the most sense given their track record with Carpenter and Universal.

I'm hoping for Shock Treatment. Just someone please release it already... here's lookin' at you Fox. You can do twelve version of Rocky Horror but not one of Shock Treatment!?

Olive initially started out releasing titles from Paramount's Republic library. Titles WB never had rights to release. The newer Paramount titles are what were previously licensed to Legend Films. Again, titles WB never had rights to release. There had been nothing newly licensed from Paramount.

**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCE FOR 2016**

Happy Halloween Everyone! We start off the best holiday ever on an exciting note by announcing that we have plans to release Tobe Hooper's wild Cannon-produced sequel THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 sometime before Summer of 2016!

Although we have no details to report at this early stage we can assure you that it will most definitely be a "Collector's Edition". More specifics will be revealed during the early part of the new year.

Now get back to watching horror films today and be safe tonight!
Kinda disappointing:/

April fools day, orca or a phantasm box set would really make me happy. Not so much with lets scare Jessica to death.

Edit: so much for that. tcm2? sorry scream but your not outdoing arrows package and I don't think they can improve on the PQ. Don't see a reason to buy. Another disappointing double dip

I wish olive had put out a invisible maniac bluray. Now that's a title I would get excited for.

Once again Phantasm is being planned by the director to be released by Image - if they can license Phantasm II - it would be a complete set, which is what they are trying to do..

As for todays announcement - TCM II -I think its one of the biggest pieces of SH*T IMHO (sorry Shout, but I mean it in a fun way)

Image? blah. Well I hope they do a good job or maybe a overseas company can get ahold of it.
