You know what??? I overlooked the fact you said the sub has low level outputs. You should be fine and also should be able to use the subs x-over cutoff to any frequency you want. Good thing the sub has low level outputs!!!

I would however maybe look at custom length cables from "Blue Jean's" if you are looking to save some $$$.

I spent a whopping 12 bucks at monoprice for some rca's to test it out, and then depending on how it goes get some better interconnects.
