You should be fine now up to at least witches. Probably get some pieces up push you up during the raid.


Actually I did get a 319 fusion that went straight to the Black Spindle. 319 Black Spindle

Only for packages, honestly, and then only for a Suros pulse rifle with a godly roll.

Gunsmith orders are weapon parts for me now.

I picked up comfort level with being the Oryx runner on my first try. This is the fastest I've felt comfortable in all parts of any hard raid, VoG included. Can gaze-hold or gaze-switch, can easily platform jump and be the relic runner, and the ship puzzles are now cake .

It's a shame I haven't gotten any drops past 316. But after 311, light level is really just bragging rights. A 320 Black Spindle won't make up for a crappy 6th teammate .

You should be good to go, all it takes is a few good drops to boost you higher. A good solid team around 305 ish will get you fairly far with practice.

Yup. Weapon parts are pretty much it for me as well with the gunsmith. Another good source of weapon parts is Variks. I redeemed all of my weapon cores and dismantled them all for parts and motes.

I feel like I should have been infusing my Black Spindle instead of my 1K Stare now.

Best way for Weapon Parts is definitely Court of Oryx.

Use the millions of runes that no one has any usage for and get weapon parts, armor materials, and legendary marks.

I'm happy for you that you're comfortable with this hard raid, some parts can be difficult and I'm sure others can agree.

I for one would take a 320 black spindle over a 316 whatever you have in a second. it can be difficult to find a 6th player, but only if you aren't willing to help them. and if you have a 320 weapon you can make up for said 6th person dying in the raid. so if Biz wants to mention his new black spindle, good for him. don't make a crappy comment because your jealous. remember, its RNG, better luck next time.

Wait he was talking about my Black Spindle?? Oh hell nah!!!! That thing wrecks!! Plus what else am I going to use it at lol My raid sniper and 1kys are already at 315.

And yes 315 Black spindles vs 305/310 do make a difference. Just look at the dps when I have to pick up the Aura at Warpriest than when we let some of the lesser guys do it. When me Fuz and GG all dps at the same time with 3 315plus he dies in 2 goes.
