In concerns to being an anthology series, I think the biggest mistake they made WAS making Halloween 2 the way they did. If they really wanted to stick to their guns of making it an anthology series they should have been One and Done with Myers. By giving Halloween 2 the continuing story of Myers, they gave fans more of a reason to follow him, which disappeared with 3. But I can't be sure of that cause who knows what would have happened had they gone in that direction sooner.

See, I don't get their thinking. Myers was killed in the second movie. He was D-E-A-D. Not to mention Carpenter stated this many times. If people thought HIII was supposed to have Myers in it then they are morons and clearly did not pay attention to anything else.
