me too - I like the full roll. I dont like crap shooting out of the droids as if they are equiped for all situations, as with jet pack R2-D2 in the prequels.

When I spoke with the manager, she said that, for the first week, 22 of the 25 screens are showing Star Wars. That only leaves 3 screens for others. And, of course, some of the theaters in these multiplexes are going to be smaller because that's where they put the indie flicks. It just so happens that mine ended up being in one of the smaller ones. I probably had the chips stacked against me because I was going to a 2D screening instead of 3D.

Of course, I wanted to go to the Ziegfeld but they didn't have the tickets on sale at the time. I'm not even sure when they went on sale. That's where I had seen all the others at midnight. Oh well...
You should have gone for 34th, 84th, 68th, or the one in Tribeca - much better quality theaters than that Times Square one.

"Will Star Wars Snag a PG Rating?"

http://www.forbes.com/forbes/welcome/

I would be surprised if it isn't PG-13, but this article has some interesting perspectives.

I've been there a few times. My luck has been pretty much 50/50 as to what theater I get.

I'm going for the Imax screen on 68th.

Though the Ziegfeld is my favorite theater.

Along with the Vader poster from a few pages back, why would they use RotJ assets to advertise the new film?

The trailers give a PG13 vibe, but honestly I think it could go either way.

The article didn't sway me. I'm betting on a PG-13. I think the days of a PG-rated, live-action, Star Wars film are officially gone.

68th was done. Everyone went there. 34th wasn't selling tickets that night. 42nd was my "only hope."

Default Ratings creep!

PG is the new G: Disney/Pixar movies are hardly rated G anymore.

There's a very high chance that this movie will have a good screenplay, thanks to the teamwork of Abrams, Arndt and Kasdan. Just sayin!

Got my IMAX tickets last night. Scored some great seats surprisingly for buying tickets later!
