Last night was the first time I have ever stepped foot in the hard mode and I've only done normal twice and haven't beaten it either time. The strategy that Ken spoke about is how we attempted to do it we just couldn't really get coordinated, I guess.

It was pretty bad when I was in the process of rage quitting Destiny over the rewards structure. The fight itself didn't seem that bad it was just little things that kept going wrong.

No worries, I get it. I'm this close to quitting for good. I can't beat the raid and the sections I do clear give me nothing but shards, I get terrible drops from the nightfalls, worse drops from the crucible weekly bounties and even worse drops from the ToO bounties.

Wasn't much to be heard, we only tried a few times and packed it in. Getting shards on the rune door part pretty much killed the night for me.

Hard raid takes practice just like every hard raid before it.

Did you really die from that?

Just as Ken stated somewhere...it takes practice. We shouldn't have expected a walk in the park after not raiding for so long.

I know right? I see this posted on Reddit all the time "it's easy if you just do it THIS way" however it's not all rainbow's and kitten whiskers when I have a go at it. I'm just sayin'

Easy mode is easy, too, right.

Easy mode WAS a lot easier when the same core group had done it a few times together. Hard mode was never easy, because no one seemed interested in putting in the time to make it easy. But that's Destiny for you. You either live it, or you just accept it.

And if we are going to come into the forum and take shots at each other, let's make sure it's for the right reason. I'm all for that when it feels like it's in good fun. I'm not the one who bailed. If you want to get it done, let's everyone commit to it. Otherwise forget it, because that's not going to work.

the totems and the warpriest weren't that bad on hard.....it's just a matter of staying alive.

our group rides each other pretty hard if someone dies......esp. if they die a lot.

but the mechanics are basically the same thing on those 2 parts vs the normal raid.

the witches and Oryx will be interesting though.
