I know you didn't say Luke is Kylo. You stated clearly that you didn't buy that. I was simply quoting you (since you mentioned it) rather than go back and find someone who was actually suggesting it.

Who played Vader in the original trilogy? Was it David Prose, James Earl Jones or Sebastian Shaw?
Prose wore the suit, Jones gave the voice but Shaw got the final reveal when the helmet came off.

JJ and Company came out repeatedly and said Cumberbatch was playing John Harrison, even showed up in IMDB initially with that. Cumberbatch said the same thing. IF (and it's one hell of a huge, highly unlikely if) but if Kylo Ren ends up being Luke Skywalker you think anyone is going to let that cat out of the bag before the film gets released with as tight as things have been over there?

I was way too young to know this at the time (was born in '76), but wasn't it publicized that Vader was played in costume and voiced by two different people? I think it is very different than this situation with Kylo Ren today, partly because there is this thing called the internet, and all it takes is one person to "suggest" it, and the rest is history.

James Earl Jones didn't play another character in the movie, so it wasn't like his real character turned out to be Vader, or vice versa. This is clearly people thinking that Luke is parading around with a red busted up lightsaber (after making a perfectly normal one prior to Jedi) and wearing tight jeans and a black cape acting as a Vader fanboy. He is not that thin; he can't be Kylo! Kylo unmasked in the trailer is not Mark Hamill.

I don't buy the argument that there is even a slight chance that Luke is Kylo. I'm sorry.

Anakin creating C-3PO as stated originally. I thought that was cool but doesn't reflect well in the OT, since Vader doesn't even give him a look.

Out of those 3, I'd take the Chewie and Yoda one. Jango was a new character and the emperor and Anakin are obviously going to be togheter, so no ''OMG'' moment there. Still, Chewie and Yoda moment was just a nice little treat.

I was asking about another one, since the original poster said that those moments ''really harmed the prequels'' and I fail to see why.

About C3PO and Vader, same deal than Obi Wan and R2. Obi Wan should clearly remember R2, but there's probably thousands of identical droids across the galaxy so maybe that's why either Vader or Kenobi failed to recognize the driods. After all, Obi Wan never did actually own a droid...
