It was also bank holiday on the Monday so it skipped a day. It was all kind of confusing lol. I'm guessing it's the normal midnight job this time around.

Anyway 2nd February is transfer deadline day lol.
Which brings me to the next question (since I’m becoming a bit concerned with Arsenal injuries) are there any rumors in the wind as to anyone of quality wanting/becoming available in the January transfer window? Or, do we run what we brung from the start of the season.

dang, another one bites the dust.

Is it me, or is that ('the fear of getting ripped off') sounding like yet another excuse for not putting out the big bucks for more proven, quality players…..which in my opinion we should have gotten at the beginning of the season.

What I mean is we (the Arsenal) in recent times since thee old days of glory always seem to be a couple world class players away from the Prem title.

P.S.
Steed, this weekend I will be of 2 minds.....Good Luck.

Arsene Wenger can be too loyal to the players at times which influence his decisions.
The summer was a great chance for us to invest in the squad and apart from us signing Cech he failed us again.
He has said in public that he was looking for world class players to bring to the club when it was clear for everyone to see they are good players out there who can do the job for Arsenal but he overlooks that every time.
This is a great chance for us to go for the title with no one making a serious challenge so far but its not going to happen with the injuries we have now and a small squad.

Thanks man, we really really need it. Sick of pressure cooker games. It's constant with no sign of any let up.

Anyway all the best to all our Gunners fans (after tomorrow)

Leicester for the title? Why the hell not.

I think Monk's gonna get the tin tack after this, Swansea could do worse than take Rodgers back...

Thought things might be looking up for Sunderland with that own goal... but alas...

Leicester back on the top of the table, we've now got some great results against some great teams too, to shut the haters up. Vardy's streak may be at an end but he did help Mahrez get a hat trick and I think that speaks volumes about the quality of our team this year.

Too much to ask for, 3 in a row. At least for this club. Sick of ruined Saturdays.

Well done, good win for your side.

Borini should have scored, different game then. He looks a pale shadow of the player who scored in the league cup final for us sadly. Not sure he wants to be here. We need to be picking up the odd point against top 4 teams otherwise it just gets harder and harder. My fears were confirmed, without Defoe we are so toothless. Fletcher will never be the answer. IMO, he is a finished knacker who should be playing championship football. If I sound angry, I am.

Hard for me to say but well done mate. Just sick of having my weekend ruined.

Muzza wins it for Bournemouth at Chelski! They were stroking it around like the Globetrotters near the end there, where was the pressing from Mourinho's lot? Stunning win.

They gonna admit they're panicking over at Stamford Bridge now or what? Could you imagine, Chelsea relegated and Sunderland stay up? Haha.

Yep, the longer this goes on then Chelsea might have to start looking over their shoulders. Jose's saying they won't get relegated but if they're still only 3 or 6 points clear of the drop zone with a couple of months to go then it's on like donkey kong.

I wonder if they'll be able to buy themselves out of this mess this January.

They bloody well shouldn't have to with the talent they've got! Pedro is still a class apart, he's mustard.
