Some Canada codes do redeem to US accounts but you likely need to use virtual proxy network software to redeem from a simulated Canada region location. I don't think there are many studios that allow you to just redeem Canada region codes directly into US affiliated portals so wouldn't count on it but I feel like I have occasionally found some.

This point highlights how some of the crossover works, not my info so I cannot guarantee how valid.

It's complicated....is the best answer.

I would say Disney and Paramount are your best 2 for the time being. Both will port itunes and UV into both Canadian and American accounts.

Universal and Fox work most of the time, but not all the time. Especially newer ones.

Don't bother Lionsgate codes. They're region locked.

For iTunes it’s only Paramount and Disney for new releases

Canadians codes for usa redemption :

warnerbros and sony :

-you redeem in flixstervideo (canadian site) (usa people need to use vpn)

- must link your uv account with flixsters

- vudu account must be link with the same uv account.

Most titles will port to vudu and Movies anywhere

Universal :

-redeem directly in movies anywhere or vudu

Paramount :

-split code

-2 redemptions vudu and itunes

Fox studios


- Older titles can be redeemed in the usa

-You must select itunes

- You redeem directly in itunes usa

Newer titles (when movies anywhere started)

Only google play.

- In canada the majority of time it is a different distributor
ex: eone, mongrel etc...

You can redeem itunes canada in itunes usa.
