The audio isn't being repeated, there are two main tracks on the criterion disc. When I watched it there was an intro or a blurb that said one was a special theatre original track and the other was a redesigned nearfield mix. I cannot really weigh in when it comes to the numbers as I am too much the dinosaur for that ![]() Oh nevermind me, I thought we were talking about the Criterion disc and it looks like you two are talking about a different edition. |

EDIT: Worth noting that the Sony has less extras than the US BD, too. It seems to be missing this featurette: Quote:

The Scorpion King
The UK version seems to contain many special features. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...L._SL1135_.jpg As opposed to the US version, which only contains two. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-S...ay/827/#Review Both were released in 2008 by Universal, so I would assume they have identical Video and English Audio. |

May I make a suggestion.. I know titles are only supposed to appear on the list if an international version is better than the US version but sometimes it's nice to have a resource that warns you about international versions.
I recently picked up the MI4K Hancock from Japan and was sad to see the black crush. I always consult the list before a purchase and didn't see it so I assume that it was equal or better to the US release. I saw that it was in the list at one point, but removed after being made aware of the black crush. I know it's my fault for not searching, but usually scan the main post for any issues. On a related note, the MX editions of both the Interview and Fury use the international encode without black crush. |
