Shooting starts end of January. I guess rogue one should be close to wrapping up shooting maybe?

Again, I think most people hate the prequels because of the bandwagon effect. I think it's the same thing that happened to Nickelback. All of the sudden everyone hated Nickelback, including 15 year olds who were not even born when their first song came out.

The funny thing about Snake kills Dumbledore, is the book was out years before the movie.

So anyone who read the book, which I think was half of the movie goign audience, should have known.

Yep. And even some people who didn't read the books, like me (I read the first one, that's it), already knew because they knew people who had read them. It really wasn't much of a spoiler.

I have no strength or will power to avoid this thread knowing I might run across a spoiler.

It was funny. When Deathly Hallows II came out in 2011. I remember posting on Facebook "Snape Dies" a week before the movie and facebook friends being angry at me.

Other people found it hilarious because they knew he died years ago in the book.

Force Awakens is brand new source material.

I think we should all have a dedicated spoiler thread for Star Wars and keep the spoilers out for this thread. I'm definitely not gonna see it on opening weekend, so putting spoilers here is gonna suck for people like me who plan on seeing it a bit later.

EDIT: Or maybe put a spoiler warning on the title

We had a "Review" thread for people that already watched it, but mods shut it down saying too many star wars threads.

I disagree with the motive. Could just merge the two threads in a few weeks after nearly all of us have seen it.
