You can damage speakers a lot easier by under powering them than over powering them. Also I don't relish loosening my hearing by age forty.

I would get one yesterday if they had Dolby Atmos or DTS X, I don't want to pay around $ 1,750-$ 2000 to have it be obsolete in two years. It will sound great but it will be out dated. I can't justify the price.

Of course if your room can supports Atmos and DTS X! For me, I can't and don't see that happening until I move, and who knows when that will be. I'm staying with my Marantz 7007 til it dies on me. After that I'm going to have a heavy decision to make! Stay with Marantz, or look at the current Arcam and Anthem AVRs.

If your room supports Atmos and X audio in terms of speaker placements and setup then stick with the Denon/Marantz/Yamaha/ or Sony ES type receivers and enjoy your new power amp!

I haven't had a problem yet with my made in China NAD CD player and I use it daily.

IMO, NAD has gotten some bad rap and when others had problems with their stuff, some like to blame it on the "made in China".

95 percent of the electronics in my room are made in China.

Yeah, I don't mind it either but some dump on gear when it's made in China.
