I don't think so. 15/70 is 2D because that's the only way you can project the sequence shot with IMAX film cameras in its full quality (let's say 12K). The rest of the movie should have had the usual DMR/film-out process from Digital intermediate to 15/70 print.

No, Dolby Vision grading completely aside, which was actually performed after the SDR grade (but not mentioned during the panel), in essence, T-land was a 4K pipeline from start to finish to theatrical deliverable….thee only ‘2K’ in the motion picture was some of the vfx before it was uprezed….https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...er#post1096598

Got a little into discussing it at Cinegear ~ 9min. 30sec. mark on vimeo -

Then why do you think it has a 4K Digital intermediate/master?

Anyone know that what I’ve re-bolded from Pieter’s quote above stands for?
Partial hint: the ‘C’ is for company.

Anyway, well, I was surprised to hear Q.T.’s story about the music score for The Hateful Eight and its association with ‘The Thing. If memory serves, it was revealed near the end of his full talk around the 25min. timestamp of the videoclip….top row, far left….http://www.dga.org/Events/2016/jan20..._QnA_1215.aspx

It was too easy (even without the clue) that's why you got no reply.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens: 2K DI.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2488496/...ef_=tt_dt_spec

Typical IMDB behavior.

THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY - PART 2

Has two masters: 3D = 2K finish
2D = 4K finish

The specifications awaken. Star Wars is 2K, what a surprise.

Ah. Not a Scooby Doo, I'm afraid.

I only just noticed this is for the shorter "multiplex feature", I wonder what the size of the roadshow DCP is?
