Not movie related, but is anyone seeing them selling video games? Trying to track down the Pacman and the ghostly adventures on the 360. Seemed to have disappeared from mainstream brick and mortar unfortunately.

I've seen a handful of video games at Big Lots over the years, but usually it's shovelware and years-old games that never sold well in the first place.

Well this one is for my 6 year old. So it sounds like I'm safe It is weird. It was every where and then poof, holidays or pulled. I can't decide.

Last year my Big Lots had cases of that Cubic Ninja game for 3ds for $5 each... wish I knew it would jump up to $70+ new thanks to the exploit.

I remember reading a while ago that Big Lots stopped selling video games. From what I've seen, that appears to be true, as it's been at least a year or two since I've seen any there.

I ended up using the coupon today to get $10 off my $51 purchase. I didn't see any new/interesting BDs, but I did get Seasons 3 and 4 of How I Met Your Mother on DVD for $5 each (basically $4 after coupon).

Then I loaded up on laundry detergent, snacks, and a bunch of new socks to reach the $50 threshold.

I went to a BL today and they had out the Black Friday title. I never could find them at any store in my area back then. I didn't find any of the ones that I wanted though

Probly YMMV but my local store had several BDs on clearence, a few I saw for $3.50 (slumdog, Wall Street, die hard, Simpsons). They even had Blade II for $1.50.

Maybe I'll have time to go next week, though I haven't seen any BDs of interest to me at Big Lots for months so we'd have to find $50 worth of soap and other household items which is tough. We avoid food since most of their food has expiration dates near or past expiration. My store just doesn't seem to get much in the way of BDs. In fact, the entire movie section has been squeezed into just 1 side of the customer returns area. Not too long ago they had up to 1 full standalone rectangle, a 2-sided display and 2 sides of the customer returns area. It's the always-shrinking movie section.

I picked up New Year's Eve for $1.50 today. It had a brown $5 sticker, which means that some clearance stuff has been marked down further. So it should be something like:

30% off - ??? (green or dark blue maybe)
50% off - yellow (but not TV seasons, The Office is still ringing up $5 at my store)
70% off - brown
90% off - purple

I went to a Big Lots I'd never been to before today...

...and found nothing new as far as BDs. They did have a small cardboard display at the front near the registers with all DVDs, including about five copies of the Robocop Steelbook for $5.




I passed, since I already own too many copies of the film already.

All the stores I've been to also have Shameless S2 & S3 pretty cheap (on DVD).

Went to my local store today after not going in forever. Found all these for $2.88 a piece (except Firestorm(Andy Lau one not the terrible one with Howie Long in it ).
