Congrats, dispute what others may say, this one-sheet final style for Episode 7 is insanely rare, and quite valuable if you are lucky to find one in near-mint/mint condition. If you frame it, don't dry mount it, and don't use cardboard backing, go with a professional framer and have it loose between the glass and the backing of the frame, go with an acid-free backing too, anything else will cause yellowing later on down the road.

Thanks for the heads up , but is a theater edition it goes on a light fixture..I threw two pictures of it ..One pic is front and the other is back...One pic has the Star Wars backwards..I used to work as a manger in a movie theater in NYC 15 years ago and actually owned Episode 1 2 3 theater posters but i still have them in tubes cause i dont have space to display them.......And I have a few other posters available just need to find out what they are ? They've been stored safe in tubes for years...

I am in the original movie poster industry, have been for 25 years, trust me a light box frame isn't required to display the movie poster. True a lightbox will give it more of a movie theater experience and will illuminate the poster but a lightbox is not a required element to display it. Everything I have framed that is double-sided I simply had them professionally framed. Cost-wise it can be cheaper to go that way than a light box, unless a person makes one themselves.

I had over 100 of each prequel style at that time, but most have sold, wish I still had more of the first two prequel films, as I am well stocked on Sith. I don't recommend storing posters in the same tube for as long as you have, cardboard is extremely acidic and breaks down over the years and can cause staining. At the very least I would remove them from the tube they have been in and put them in a new tube.

Awesome information I will look for them and follow the advice you have provided....I will sure see how much is going to be to framed the posters professionally meaning that they have been stored for so many years...I sure hope they are still in good condition...I will post some pictures soon as I find them......Thanks again for the information

Absolutely no problem, feel free to private message me anytime. When you go to a framer, make sure you explain that you do not want them to dry mount the poster, some framers will do that without it being mentioned. You do NOT want to dry mount the Episode 7 final style poster or any original movie poster as it makes the poster worthless because the process alters it. You would simply want the poster loose between the glass (or plexiglass which is lighter) and the backing of the frame. I would recommend an acid-free backing. don't worry about doing a matte around the poster, it really isn't needed for something as large as a poster. A professional frame job with a nice metal frame, UV Glass or UV Plexiglass with acid-free backing could run $200-$250.

A lightbox is a nice option as well, but those can run just as expensive or even more than a professional frame job. Regarding storage, cardboard over long term can cause staining, it takes a long time, but it does happen. How you store them also with regards to temperature, etc has an impact too. Keep the tube in a cool dry place, dont have it sitting by a heater vent or in the sunlight, etc.

What a bummer ....Found an Episode 1 Teaser , X MEN , Private Ryan ,Chocolat , Titan AE , Scary Movie , Digimon and Pokemon....But No Episode 3 Poster.....Im going to decide which ones i want to frame and maybe get rid of the rest....Thanks for the information maybe I"ll just do the Star Wars posters being that those were never display in a lightbox enclosure in the theater i work back then....The others I took from display so they have there nicks and nacks but still very cool looking posters....
