Besides aside from the very best of the best of native 3d (Hugo, Avatar, Life of Pi, The Young and Prodigious T.P.Spivett etc), post conversion is currently far more reliable for quality results (Jupiter Ascending, Mad Max Fury Road). The problem is it is far to often rushed, for example even huge films like Jurassic World have a plethora of conversion errors whereas Titanic and Jurassic Park do not and the above examples do not. I did notice one instance of a possible conversion error for SW: TWA but it could have been a weird lens artifact (though i'm fairly certain it was a conversion error) and even with it, it was otherwise made very good use of the format, and it is no more an issue then the plethora of other errors in every film ever made. |

That's seven times more you've seen this remake than me. I've seen it 2 times since release. Once 2d, once in IMAX3D, just to get the various experiences. 2D was still the best. I've probably paid to see it one time too many. At best it's an above average film, at worst an unimaginative remake with different characters.
