L) I don't see it as The Honey Pot (1967) Since KINO just released a BLU for it.

I have a hard time believing that Criterion would release a David O. Russell film or Valley of the Dolls.

Also, the Queen of Hearts is not a clue for The Manchurian Candidate. That would be a Queen of Diamonds.

I'm too tired from my morning run to guess at the cartoon hints, but this is always a fun part of the year.

I'm really not seeing Three Kings as a Criterion title. I watched it several times back in the DVD days, and, while it's a good movie, it falls somewhat short of the mystique and allure that I generally associate with Criterion.

I like octagon's theory that the guy on the island is a hint for In a Lonely Place, since that movie is at the top of my Criterion wishlist.

It is Beyond the Valley of the Dolls not Valley of the Dolls. Years ago, Criterion was slated to release (and created the special features for) Beyond the Valley of the Dolls on DVD when Fox decided they wanted to release it themselves.

I do hope we get Valley of the Dolls also. I know they aren't connected but maybe TT or FOX themselves will issue VotD to Blu.

Queen of Hearts is definitely some sort of Jackie O. reference . Not sure what film it could be. There is an Aronofsky produced film called Jackie starring Natalie Portmam coming our in 2017, but it can't be for that lol

But this was already announced as a future title. You notice he's holding the motorcycle (bike)..Bicycle Thief or Bicycle Thieves?, another announced title. I can't see Criterion including them as clues when they're already announced previously.

I looked closely this time and I can't tell if he's holding the bike or just walking past it. As for the timing, the artwork may have been created before the latest announcements.

If that's for Phoenix I would be thrilled ... and it would be serendipitous, since I just watched it for the first time last night. What a film. I had never seen a Petzold film before, and it was extremely powerful and beautifully acted and photographed.

I really hope that's it.

I have discovered a few discs that have bronzed amongst my collection.
They never stop. Criterion has always been willing to replace defective discs. Just contact Jon Mulvaney, let him know which titles you need exchanged.

He's definitely holding it, his left hand is draping the tire.

Could A be a reference to the three wise men/some biblical themed movie?

I don't see many suggestions for C. Could Armageddon be making its Criterion comeback?

I hope not. Don't get me wrong, I like the film. But IMO the WB Blu ray is good enough and does not need an upgrade. Frankly, since Criterion is able to obtain WB films I rather have them releasing something that has not been released yet.

I'm pretty sure MGM's Queen of Hearts was hinted at in the past along with The French Lieutenant's Woman and other titles.

(Don't quote me on that, though)

EDIT: It was King of Hearts. My bad.
