I think the commish's take should be negotiated before the start of the season. He should decide what he wants to run the league beforehand and it shouldn't be the responsibility of the winners to give him any extra.

I play in 6 leagues a year, commish 2. I've never received a tip or given a tip.

No i mean each winner gave 10% of their winning -- so the commish got 10% of total.

Hell no to tipping a commish.

I'm commish in three money leagues... Never have I expected nor received a tip. Never even thought of it before, honestly.

I will say that collecting money and constantly getting on people about it is a chore. Makes me want to stop doing it, but if I don't no one else will.

Fair enough, but that wasn't done so this is more of a gesture on my lady's part.

And that's fair. Honestly, I don't even know how it came up, but it did, so it got us thinking. I was a commish for a league I ran for YEARS and I finally gave it up last year cuz I got tired of chasing down grown adults for $25 in the day of Paypal as well as I wanted to focus solely on this pick 'em league...that my lady won in her very first year!

Hall of fame finalists announced. Favre and TO rightfully in the mix as well as Kurt Warner. It's interesting cause he's not getting in before Favre so it's going to be another year for him unless they vote in 2 QB's.

Warner will eventually get in, just not first ballot.

The annual report about Jon Gruden being interested in a job is out, with reports stating he's got interest in the Eagles job. This report comes out every year, and then shortly after ESPN releases a statement that Gruden has agreed to a new contract to remain on Monday Night Football.

I automatically dismiss any title with 'Jon Gruden' in it, this time of year.
Surprised Cowher hasn't been linked to anyone yet.

Yeah, it was always reported that Cowher wanted the Giants job and would only return to coaching for that job but there's been no rumors of him being in the mix for that job. It may be that Cowher has no interest in returning to coaching and is happy with his easy TV job, or it could be that he's been out of coaching so long that teams no longer have interest in him.

He's too busy gushing over what football player is currently on-screen at the time.

You should've heard UT fans when Dooley was fired. There were many who swore on their lives that Gruden was coming. Even when Gruden publicly turned the job down, you'd hear someone say that his cousin told him that statement from Gruden really meant nothing and that contract negotiations between he and the school were underway.

Delusions run wild down here. Thankfully I haven't heard a single person rumor Gruden to the Titans. I guess they've learned their lesson.

Also, why the obsession with Gruden? He's a good coach, but probably a bit overrated and hasn't coached since 2008. He has what is a very low stress job for him and he makes a buttload doing it. He's not going back to the 100 hour weeks of the NFL.
