Samsung 52A650 in my opinion. The Sony XBR5 are super good too but for the money you wont find a better 52inch LCD than the Samsung. The 650 is one of the top rated LCD's on pretty much every review site (check out cnet.com they give you a full review and video on it too)

The other Sony you have up there (not the XBR5) but the V series is a good tv but its Sony's lowest class 1080p LCD. Where as the Samsung 650 is their upper line of 1080p LCD's. It used to be one of the top then the started rolling out the 850's and 950's. But still the 650 is an amazing tv!!

And no to DLP. yes you get the most screen size for your dollar but DLP's are slowing phasing out. In my opinion the Samsung 650 is the most reasonable and best priced unit. Good luck
