I saw this in the store today, but picked Martian 3D instead, as I wasn't a fan of the very mild 3D in Hotel Transylvania 1 3D. The trailer didn't look much better I'm afraid in terms of the 3D. Thoughts for those who have this on blu ray 3D?
the depth is stronger than in the first film.

I found the 3D marginally better in the sequel (nice flying scenes, some good moments of depth and a couple of pop-outs) but it was still far too mild overall - for those who like comparisons, Madagascar 3 easily wipes the floor with it.

the 3d was not that mild to me, it is alot better in terms of depth, i heard some say that the 3d in the first film was very lackluster.

Yeah...I feel the same way about the first one. Thought the trailer for the second showed better 3D than the first one,imo

Sounds like the reviewer felt the 3D could've been amped up a lot more.

Thanks for the comparison to give perspective on this one's 3D.

The 3d is very mild for me. In fact, most of the time I don't notice any depth or 3d layers whatsoever in this movie.

Watched this earlier, I thought the 3d was better than the first one, also, some of the shots looked like they had 3d in mind when making them, like when
[Show spoiler]drac does the dance with the toddler and his leg comes out of the screen a few times and the shot with the tennis balls being fired at a vampire.
I enjoyed this one more than the first one, for me the toddler stole the show, where as my wife and daughter preferred the first.
