I found the 3D marginally better in the sequel (nice flying scenes, some good moments of depth and a couple of pop-outs) but it was still far too mild overall - for those who like comparisons, Madagascar 3 easily wipes the floor with it.

the 3d was not that mild to me, it is alot better in terms of depth, i heard some say that the 3d in the first film was very lackluster.

Watched this earlier, I thought the 3d was better than the first one, also, some of the shots looked like they had 3d in mind when making them, like when
[Show spoiler] I enjoyed this one more than the first one, for me the toddler stole the show, where as my wife and daughter preferred the first.
