Where are you getting that from? Zavvi and Amazon both say Feb 8th, and HMV says Jan 1st 2018. And March 31st is a Thursday.

31st March is the release date in Ireland. The 1st Jan 2018 date on HMV.com is a generic date they set when updating to a new release date. My local store also say there's a new date being anounced shortly.

It's so they can sell them in a bunch of different countries and not have to change anything.

Sure, but they could offer some sticker or something similiar to put on the front.
Not the best solution, but could be worse (for example the title in french ).

@MattO #39: It was sold out during preorder state, therefore it is not listed every time, only when someone cancelled the order.

No title on front and especially the spine. I 'm keeping my pre order. The only other titleless steel I have is White House Down and I've kept the J-Card with that in a steelbook sleeve so it still has the title on my shelf.
