I still think it's The Ambassador. There's already a German Blu, so a HD master exists.

I really hope it could be:

1) King Solomon's Mines (1985) the 2nd film is out already from Mill Creek (unfortunately; because it doesn't have English subtitles)
2) Sahara (1983) there is already a German Bluray of this too
3) Sword of the Valiant (1984) haven't seen it but I like 80s fantasy

maybe it could be the recently released in UK Hercules (1983)

Allan Quartermain and the Lost City of Gold is Olive Films, not Mill Creek.

Oh, sorry. Well, the result is the same. No subtitles.
No wonder I mixed up those 2.

Whoever releases Cozzi's Hercules here, it needs to be a double feature set with the sequel.

"WAR GODS OF THE DEEP" - In case anyone is interested, the trailer on Kino's Blu is missing all the superimposed text and titles throughout the trailer. It doesn't even show the title of the film, which is showcased several times alone in the intact trailer which was on the old MGM Midnite Movies DVD.

This is a strange anomaly; the trailer on Kino's DERANGED disc is also incomplete, missing all the narration (which is what made that trailer so great). The trailer on MGM's Midnite Movies DVD was completely intact.

Please Kino, try to inspect the trailer materials they give you in the future. Trailers are the most important extra, at least for me, even if they have to be ripped from the old DVD's if MGM supplies faulty masters.

Thank you very much!
One crucial question for me:
Do they include English subtitles?

That's was actually MGM/UA's standard practice on all of their overseas DVD releases - they'd simply remove all the captions on the grounds that the discs were supposed to be multilingual.

I got around to watching Welcome to LA today. It was so much fun traveling back to 1970's Los Angeles. I miss those days. The disc itself was top notch. I really enjoyed it.

"Welcome to LA" is a really good film. It definitely feels like an Altman movie. Many of Rudolph's later films seem less Altman-esque, but the Altman influence is very strong on "Welcome to LA".

It is a great companion piece to Rudolph's Choose Me.

Of course, I wouldn't mind a firm release date for The Magnetic Monster as well.

DeepDiscount currently has a ton of Kino titles on sale for $15.75 - $15.83 each.

On top of that, they also have a promotion (see the banner at the top of their website):
Buy 3, get 10% off / Buy 4, get 12% off / Buy 5, get 15% off

So if you buy 5 or more titles, you could get them for as low as $13.39 each.

DVDPlanet also has them for $15.29 - $15.49 each + 10% off with coupon code WINTER ($13.76 or $13.94 each). Plus TopCashBack is currently offering 8% back.

I picked up Lisa and Spellbinder (plus I just received The Mask 3D from DDs last 15% off sale). Great prices!
