I don't care if some NFL player with purple skin celebrated, like Cam, I'd still think it was dumb. All the sports I've played over the decades, the one thing that spoke the loudest was the scoreboard.

Las Vegas Raiders? It fits them. Per ESPN Mark Davis is meeting with UNLV officials about sharing the $1billion stadium being built in the city. not sure if sports betting will put a stop to these plans tho

Seems like most people think Peyton will hang it up and leave on top if the Broncos win the Super Bowl. I'll bet he doesn't. If they win I think he gets the itch to try for a 3rd ring, probably somewhere other than Denver.

My Broncos are the underdogs but I'm ok with that.

One more ring Manning.

Manning's arm has been gone since 2013, not sure WHERE he could sign that would be a contender and would be improved by a QB with a dead arm.

This. To think otherwise is such a ridiculous notion. What team is close enough with a decent enough QB to have Manning put them over the top in just one year. Not gonna happen.

I could see an NFL team thriving in Vegas, but I'd be surprised if the NFL would allow the move. UNLV is partnering with Las Vegas Sands to build the stadium, and I can't imagine the NFL allowing one of their teams to be a tenant or partner in a stadium owned by a casino. Last year the NFL wouldn't allow Tony Romo to appear at a fantasy football convention that was hosted at a non-casino property owned by Sands.

I could see Manning being brought into a Superbowl potential team which has its QB get hurt, because even with a dead arm he's arguably better than most replacements you can scrounge up.

Manning isn't some plug and play QB, it takes him a little while to settle into a system and become comfortable. No way this happens.

How so? Vegas has an extremely transient population similar to Florida. And we all know how fickle Florida NFL fans are. Unless the team is contending the fans just aren't there.

I think the team would have no problem selling out 8 home games because of tourists. Las Vegas averages 3-4 million visitors a month and if only a tiny fraction of those people come to games they'll have no problem selling out each game. Las Vegas is also probably the easiest city and one of the cheapest in the US to fly to, so a lot of fans of opposing teams would likely show to each game.

I think Vegas would have good attendance but I don't think you'd see a solid home crowd anytime soon. Maybe leftover LA Raider fans driving over and a few locals who buy in. It will be no different than a Vegas show for all the tourists in town.

I can't be certain of this, but I believe Las Vegas(and the surrounding area) has....residents.
I'm pretty sure a fair amount of these residents will buy a fair amount of tickets/ season tickets. Not to mention local businesses buying sky suites.
That, coupled with the aforementioned tourists could make for quite the popular ticket.
The whole notion of the NFL shying away from Vegas due to gambling, is nonsense. Plenty gamble on all the NFL teams that don't reside in Las Vegas.

And just how many free agent QBs you can acquire if your QB gets hurt are plug and play?

Even with a pre-existing backup, that guy gets pretty much no snaps on a typical NFL team.

Peyton is a smart guy... Win or lose, surely he knows this is the time to go. Please don't pull a Favre.

If Peyton loses, I really hope it's not embarrassing this time.

Would really suck for him to fall to 1-3 in Super Bowls while his inferior brother is 2-0... Either way, he's obviously a first ballot Hall of Famer, but he'd forever be known for 1-3, fair or not.

He was always a big rival and a lot of Titans fans couldn't stand him. For whatever reason, I never had that rivalry hate for him that I have had for other players because I guess I just respected him so damn much. Aside from one game against us, I never felt like he Lucked into wins like his inferior replacement has.

I usually hate the story book endings, and I said leading into the playoffs that if Peyton wins it all, the NFL is rigged... But now I want it. It's 50% because of my feelings towards Cam and 50% because I don't want to see Peyton get embarrassed in his final game.

As for the matchup, this might be where missing Kelvin Benjamin comes back to haunt the Panthers... Cam is going to have to make a lot of plays with his legs because from the pocket when the pressure's coming are Ginn, Brown, Funchess, Cotchery really going to be able to get open in time against the Broncos elite secondary? Cam will have to extend a lot of plays.
