Saw it Wednesday. great movie. would give it a 7/10. It's definitely not as bad as most of those rottentomatoes reviewers are making it out to be.

I think it's low rating is valid.

Low reviews didn't stop me from seeing it, and I'm glad I did. Kept me guessing 'til the end. It was a fun movie to sit through. 7.5/10.. as someone said, though, the whole time, I was sitting there thinking "Man, I can't wait to see this scene on Blu-Ray".

The ratings are valid because the critics' has the right to their opinions. But that doesn't mean that the films they love is the film that you or an average Jane/Joe would love. Of course, I'm one of those critics.

According to RottenTomatoes, Disturbia was 68% fresh. I thought it was 6.5/10 and certainly no Rear Window. I stand by my review and I'm not holding a gun to anybody's head to make them watch any movie I thought was good. All I can do is encourage or nag.

I thought it was terrible. I was expecting it to be average..but it was below average.

Waste of 5.25 for me

6.5/10.

I thought it was on par with Independence Day as far as popcorn flicks go. It was unbelievable but at the same time had enough going on to be enjoyable.

Worth a watch on cheap tuesday for sure(or using your free Transformer's Blu-Ray coupon like I did).

The movies stole it's ideas from Terminator, I Robot and other movies I can't think of right now.

I saw it a couple of nights ago and thought it was good. Will definitely rent it when it's released on Blu-ray, perhaps even buy it.

Just got back from seeing this with the family. Kids liked it. I had mixed feelings and the wife fell asleep!

The story was interesting at first until you realized it was just another
[Show spoiler]"look what the evil government can do"
film. I've got to say that I had a BIG problem with the jerky camera work during all of the action sequences. It was annoying as #ell. I understand doing it to some degree to add to the sense of realism, but this was just way too much. It made most of those sequences unwatchable for me.

6.5 out of 10

People are being too hard on the film in regard to it being unrealistic and such. The same people that say Die Hard is the best action movie ever.. which is possibly even more unrealistic. I thought it was pretty good.. the friends and family I went with today all enjoyed it.

Actually, that's not the plot or the theme. If you got that, you must've watched a different movie.

Actually it wasn't too bad and it wasn't on all of the action sequences. Most of that came from the first chase sequence, which was pretty well done.

The second Bourne movie was the worst in terms of that.

I must have been watching a different movie as well than as that's a big part of the theme I got out of it - to me it was basically saying
[Show spoiler]the patriot act is a bad thing and the governement spying on you can only lead to bad things

overall though, I enjoyed it enough (7/10) and will likely buy it on Blu. As for the negative reviews, I'd be willing to bet that at least some of them were given by people who just don't like Shia and thus aren't a fair representation of the film.

True just like Lost in Translation had the most 5 stars of any movie and to me it was a snooze fest.

for those out there, when you people saying don't listen to critics. That means you shouldn't listen to them either. Only thing to do is make your own choice to see it or not.
