Over at AVS, it was like "Blu-ray sucks" and no facts to prove to me that that was the case... so I bought into Blu-ray and haven't looked back... thanks to everyone here for that!
Jedi,
Thank you for the comments about us users here... Yes, you've hit the nail on the head - we are "good" in that we give reasons, or at least try to, before saying something or the other "sucks".

CAPMASTER:
Welcome. I look forward to reading more insightful comments from you... You seem to be at the forefront of authoring, therefore have to know a lot of the specifications and the benefits thereof.

Rup.

@Amel - Thank you
I'm becoming a Samsung fan myself. I bought a YEPP MP3 player of theirs a few years ago and was very impressed, but that wasn't enough to do it. What did it was our recent purchase of a Sammy 61" DLP HDTV. A magnificent set! It replaced a <cough> Sony 53" CRT rear projector

@Rup - I've had a few turns around the block, but I'm no "expert". Just more familiar with all the different ways to get into trouble
