Well, you can kind of blame The Good Dinosaur's underperformance on Mockingkay Part 2 (and Spectre).

Not so much a deleted scene as much as a marketing scheme.

They could've just not split the last film in two. The last two were a step down from CF, imo.

Aghh, I think I saw that pic you posted (or similar) ages ago but had forgotten it, I bet it gave me the sub-conscious idea for my photo! Nevermind.

Create and train hordes of infiltrators, spies, etc, to permeate every level of Rebel operations. Make it the intergalactic equivalent of the Cold War; paranoia, back-stabbing, espionage, all against a larger backdrop of the aforementioned spaceships and pow-wow stuff.

I guess the next question is will Disney release the 3D version? I haven't heard a thing. It's strange said they won't do 3D anymore ,yet I have seen Frozen and a few others at Amazon UK that are in 3D blu-ray. So since its Star wars will they do it??

Or maybe people getting bored of the franchise has something to do with it?

Lionsgate is just looking for something to blame other than Lawrence fatigue, and their milking of the franchise wearing people down.

You'd have a point if that stuff was true.

Mockingjay Part II was the best in the series IMHO.

Force Awakens obliterated everything in its path. It also cleared out any film playing in IMAX and the higher grossing premium format screens for one thing.

Maybe the fact they were all terrible movies contributed. Sheesh.

It's hard to tell. There are currently no 3D BD preorders worldwide (not even Amazon UK). It does appear that Lucasfilm likely has some autonomy in how its release is handled, as standard BD preorders in the UK and Australia indicate a 2 disc BD release.

It's also interesting there isn't a standalone DVD preorder in North America, which doesn't normally happen with releases of new films. Although Disney has stopped releasing standalone DVDs of certain rereleases (101 Dalmatians, Aladdin, etc.), and Lucasfilm/Fox currently only has Region 1 DVDs of the previous Star Wars films (in print) with BD/DVD combos.

So you say his opinion doesn't matter, then link to a bunch of other people's opinions, and call them fact?

When a lot of critics and audiences have the exact opposite opinion...and I didn't say it didn't matter. I said it was his opinion: not a fact.

There were people claiming the original STAR WARS films stunk, ALIEN stunk, BLADE RUNNER stunk, etc. Doesn't make it true then or now.

Who are these people? Are they people only you can see and hear?

The fact is they are terrible films, but a person can enjoy a terrible film and express their opinion of that enjoyment.

Thanks. That would take a bit more to organize compared to pressing a button on the Death Star to obliterate a Rebel planet, but that could work.

I did find a couple overseas blu ray 3D pre orders online, though like the poster art being used by most sites looking to secure early pre order sales, still waiting for official announcement from Disney/Lucasfilm Ltd on the release date, blu ray specs, bonus features, cover art, 2D/3D, etc.

Rumor is April 5th, 2016 as the release date of the blu ray and home video release, but that would be about 8 weeks away give or take. Not sure that will happen unless they announce all the details next week. The month of May seems more likely, or June at the latest.

OK. If it's a "fact" then back up your information and let us know why it is indeed a "fact".

I'm betting you haven't even *seen* them, certainly not Mockingjay Part 2.

Or do both. And fund huge honking fleets and tons of ground forces. Clearly they're not hurting for coin.

And as silly as continuing to build Massive Weapons of Mass Destruction might seem, it's not like there's no historical precedent for that kind of thing.

When castles got stormed nobles didn't stop building castles, they built bigger ones. When warships got sunk nations didn't stop building warships, they built bigger ones.
